  • Develop and own ground-breaking services product offerings with emphasis on wind turbine rotating parts, lubrication systems and gearboxes
  • Provide guidance to support team members to spec roller bearings and gears to be used in wind turbine gearboxes and main bearings
  • Direct team members developing and/or executing assessments on Machine Head structural components
  • Work with suppliers to create and/or modify specifications to be used in wind turbine components
  • Work with service shops to develop optimized procedures and part fit ups
  • Support design / analysis documentation, e.g. Specifications, Design Practices, Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Address and/or support field needs with analysis and issue resolution, RCAs and PAC cases
  • Work with Sourcing, Manufacturing and Quality on supplier qualifications, NCRs, supplier deviation dispositioning and all technical issues related to Services offerings
  • Execute the design, analysis or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
  • Lead and execute peer reviews and provide technical guidance within the team
  • Lead and/or participate as a presenter and/or reviewer in technical and program reviews
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data (including Maintenance Manuals, Work Desk Instructions (WDI), Temporary Work Procedures (TWP), etc.) generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks is consistent with engineering policies and procedures
  • Define test and validation requirements as needed

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in an engineering or technical position
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a project leadership role within an engineering environment
